For much of my life, I measured myself by the roles I filled and the people I cared for. Marriage, motherhood, family, and responsibility shaped my days, often leaving little room to ask what I wanted for myself.
When that life changed, I had to learn how to make decisions on my own, trust my instincts, and accept that becoming someone new did not mean losing who I had been. Writing became a way to look back with clarity and share the lessons that came from rebuilding, one choice at a time.
